Category:
Application/Web Development
Project Completion Date:
July, 2009
Industry:
Financial Services
Business Challenge:
The client had no Oracle expertise on board to properly diagnose and implement the recommended improvements and had several upcoming large deployments of their services which threatened the already poor performing hosted application.
MATRIX Solution:
MATRIX Professional Services was selected because of our key resource experience assessing and providing recommendations for poor performing Oracle-based applications. Our Oracle database architect completed an independent assessment and provided key recommendations for immediate and long-term database optimization. Once tested, the recommendations were implemented.
Results / Benefits:
An increase in system utilization of available database resources was key to improving the application performance by more than 40%.
