Category:
Delivery Management
Project Completion Date:
September, 2010
Industry:
Financial Services
Business Challenge:
Firm recognized the potential as larger clients were inquiring about their software, but they knew they had architectural and design challenges that would prevent them from scaling and performing at extremely high transaction levels.
MATRIX Solution:
MATRIX Professional Services was selected to analyze an application, recommend changes, and implement a performance and scalability practice so that recommendations could be baselined, iteratively optimized, and benchmarked in front of a live customer audience.
Results / Benefits:
- In just over three months, MATRIX worked closely with the customer to measure, optimize, and benchmark a product that went from 130 concurrent users to 800+ concurrent users on the same hardware. Transaction volumes went from 20,000 general ledger reconciliations per hour to 200,000+ reconciliations per hour.
- The practices put in place have been integrated into the client’s software development life cycle
