Business Challenge: 
Client maintained a huge repository of still and video images across their enterprise, providing business-to-business fulfillment of request from other media and entertainment organizations for access to the library of video clips. To automate and enhance this fulfillment process, it was necessary to redesign and redevelop the application.
MATRIX Solution: 

This request fulfillment process was automated by MATRIX Professional Services. The client also needed additional enhancements and a new media player to support more platforms. The solution was developed using a Java, JEE based platform using a structured Agile (Scrum) approach along with a customized Microsoft Silverlight player that interfaced with the Oracle data repository.

Results / Benefits: 

The Java, JEE application allows clients to search the metadata repository of video clips, view a small segment of a clip, and then download the selected clip in one of four digital formats. The application was developed with a team of four to six developers over a three month period.
